In recent times Parkour/Freerun has been used in a wide variety of computer video games. We’ve seen the likes of Mirror’s Edge, Freerunning, Prototype, Assassin’s Creed and Infamous to name just a small selection. Well now another game has stepped up to the plate and it stands head and shoulders above all as the new flag bearer. That game is Unchartered 2 - Among Thieves on the PS3 and even though Parkour/Freerun isn’t mentioned anywhere, the execution of the techniques at your disposal clearly speak for themselves. Outside of cat leaps, roof jumps, vaulting, balancing and rolling, there are also laches, dyno’s and plenty of climbing to do. We’ve pressure tested the game to completion and can report that the game itself reeks of quality throughout. So for now there is at last, a next gen game that provides accurate and physically possible PK/FR action. With Assassin’s Creed 2 scheduled to be released very soon, we’re being spoilt for choice but who’s complaining?
It’s Uncharted, not UnchartERed.
very cool game though
TYPO!
But still, this game is brilliant, absolutely amazing.
The game looks good but I would still play Assassins Creed II and I!
