Parkour Vision |

'Parkour Vision' is a term often used to explain the
heightened sense of awareness to our surroundings, that comes from
regular training and experience. Over time, areas that we'd once blindly
walked through, all of a sudden become a huge playground to create
movement. Once your Parkour Vision has developed, it is something that
stays with you for life....

Obstacles (Fragmented Glyph) |

No boundaries, no imitations, just movement. Regardless of the obstacles
standing in our way, Parkour/Freerun allows us to adapt to overcome.

Worldwide

This design reflects how
widespread the art of Parkour has become. Urban Freeflow had played a
vital role in setting up the
Global Parkour Network which has seen the art developing and being
nurtured in almost every country in the World.

Scar Tissue

Whilst we always condone
safe and calculated practice conditions, like any sport, doing Parkour
will no doubt see you picking up bumps and scrapes along the way. One of
the most noticeable things for any newcomer to the art is the hand area,
which is used extensively as you find your 'way'. From doing cat leaps,
vaults and climbing, you'll find that your hands can become blistered
and calloused. Instead of taking the easy option of wearing gloves to
combat this, its considered somewhat a rite of passage to tough it out
and get to the point where your hands are as tough as leather. Same
applies to many other areas and this is reflected through this design.
Reads as - ''Even though I seek perfection, I wear my scars with
pride.''

The Way

Once you've dipped your
toes into the art, you'll find your outlook changing forever. Things
will never be seen again in the same light and as you develop your
skills, you will start to develop a whole different mindset. From there
you will start to find 'the way' which is a whole new level of
understanding and something that will always stay with you as you
progress on your Parkour journey.

Inner Monkey
Parkour practitioners
are often described as Monkey's and to a degree that is true, as its an
aim
to emulate their grace, fluidity, explosiveness and dynamism in the way
we move through our environment.
Here we simply pay homage to our simian cousins.

Traceur

Traceurs are a breed
unto themselves and refuse to be grouped in with other typically
associated action sports. Unlike activities
such as skateboarding or BMX where participants need a board or bike to
interact with specific obstacles, Parkour allows absolute freedom of movement where
we can go wherever we want, whenever we want and in turn, create paths
where others would not necessarily see them.
This design celebrates that fact. Wording reads as: "There are many
unique paths to our final destination".

Rapide Comme Les Vent

A favourite design of ours because its so
busy with the wording and creates a piece of organized chaos, yet its
still small enough for it to be very personal to the practitioner.
Wording reads as - ''Rapide Comme Le Vent' - Fast like the wind. With
the city as our playground there's only one thing to do: MOVE. Silence
in most cases demonstrates efficiency. Move while producing the least
amount of noise as you touch the ground and you and you demonstrate
masterful muscle control. If you want to know the degree of your
coordination, agility and balance, listen rather than watch. The less
you hear, the greater the skill level. Being a traceur allows you to go
wherever you want, whenever you want, however you want. No
limitations... No boundaries... Just movement'.

Flatline |
This design shows the
merging of a regular flatline with skyscrapers and the words read:
"Parkour.....With every beat of the heart", showing that those who
practise Parkour, are in it for life, not just for xmas.

Concrete Conspiracy |

Ever notice the
footmarks that cover the walls at any Parkour hotspot? For some maybe an
eyesore, but for
practitioners of the discipline these act as a means of communication
between each other. A way of marking
territory and to act as a traceur's map. Maybe more........You decide.
