Ultralife Supplements

'Healthy balanced diets', 'nutritional requirements', 'you are what you eat', 'your body is your temple'......blah blah blah.
"Change the record" most will say.

Almost all of us already know that healthy diets are important. But at the same time there are so many different products out there, that its very easy to get lost in all the jargon and to either cut corners, or give up the ghost totally and head off to McD's for a quick fast food fix.
It's no big secret that we aren't anywhere near as healthy as we were a generation ago. Today, one in five of us are obese and the incidences of diabetes, osteoporosis, cancer and heart disease are rapidly increasing. Even if we think we are eating the right foods, outside influences such as freshness of produce, pollution, pesticides and preservatives mean that the quality of nutrients it provides falls short of the standard we require for optimum nutrition.
From a personal level, I've always been conscious of what I'm consuming but because of all the different brands and often confusing messages, I keep everything as simple as possible supplement wise.....whey protein shakes, amino acid tablets, glucosamine sulphate tablets, cod liver oils and multi vitamins.  Don't get me wrong, I am very interested in finding that perfect balance but because of so much mixed information out there, if I were to consume every type of tablet/supplement that was 'recommended' on a daily basis, I would have to open up an Urban Freeflow chemist. hmmmmm?
Now at last, we have a company who've stepped up and split all the essential foods into groups and packaged them as quick mix liquid consumables, which are easier for the body to absorb than regular tablets or capsules. The supplements that Ultralife  have developed are aimed at both children and adults and take care of all the essential food groups while at the same time, making it very easy to understand.

WTF has this all got to do with Parkour?  Well, nothing if you don't want it to.  But with so many people claiming to have found 'the way' and diving head first into the philosophy that Parkour offers, surely it makes sense to compliment that by taking care of the only equipment you really need for the discipline - Your own body?!

Without going into any more blurb or making this sound like we are preaching, here's the link to the Ultralife website to check out.  Whilst there you will be able to check out their range and find a whole host of info about nutrition that makes for very interesting reading. http://www.ultralifeshop.co.uk

We give them 5 out of 5.
