Billabong mini backpack
 |
If like me you watched the film 'Yamakasi'
and went on a mission to find the backpacks used in the movie, you'll understand
fully how difficult it is to find them. I searched everywhere with every
brand imaginable without any luck. What I was searching for was a backpack
that was comfortable, able to hold all necessary items (cell phone, wallet,
water, beanie hat, jelly babies, plasters, straps and in some cases my digi
cam), and yet still small enough to be able to run from one spot to another
without feeling like I was going camping. In my quest to find the perfect
backpack, I went through many different types until accidentally happening upon
the Billabong one. The picture above doesn't really do it justice, as when
strapped onto your back, its tiny. It has many different compartments and
has a load of secret ones too (in case you are carrying contraband). The best
bit of all is that I picked mine up for only £18. The straps are fully
adjustable for ultra comfort and there's a link that you can hook between both
the shoulder straps (chest level), which means you can go running with it on and
not have to worry about it slipping or working its way off.
Style - Although the pic above shows
a sandy coloured one, the one I have has a black and orange colour scheme and
looks fine. Many varieties available. Heavily branded with Billabong all
over it but with this company you always get good quality. 4/5
Fit -
Fully adjustable to suit everybody's requirements. Shoulder straps are
padded thickly to provide ultimate comfort. You can go out running with
this on and hardly notice its there. 5/5
Grip - N/A
Shock resistance - N/A
Weight - Made from very strong canvas
type material and very light. 4/5
Durability - Have had mine for about 7 months and have even
trained while wearing it (rolling) with no wear and tear. 5/5
Value - Picked mine up from a surf
store for £18. 4/5
Overall - If you are after a small
backpack that can carry all of your necessary items, you won't go far wrong with
this one. 4/5
