Nike
PSA mp3

|
If you are a keen music fan and
enjoy the odd toe tappin' / head boppin' beat session when you're out, or if
you've ever wondered how good it would be to PK to music then I would advise in
getting some sort of portable music device. There were many reasons why I
went and bought this mp3 player. It goes without saying that mp3 players
are the most efficient portable products on the market for handling and
listening to your music, no extra tapes or discs, just a mere cable (USB in this
case). And In the long run can be much cheaper. The super compact Nike psa
mp3 128 player has a neat splash-proof/scratch/shock proof design which makes it
that little bit easier and relaxing to wear while out training. You aren't
worrying so much as to where to put it, or restricted as if to think it may fall
and break.
Though, I've never actually dropped mine or scratched it due to the armband that
comes with it, which means it securely sleeps on your arm. The refined
armband is made to fit the human arm to the best way possible, with an easy
tightening tough Velcro strap, once on, it won't be going anywhere. It
also comes with a magnetic fly clip. This is used to secure the lead/wire from
flying around the place and getting in the way. The magnet is strong and doesn’t
budge either. If all the extras are set up and are adjusted properly to fit
you’ll have no problems training till the batteries run out, which wont happen
much as is comes with its own re-charger and a battery (AAA).
It supports all music files and comes with plug-ins and software (music match :
jukebox) which are easy to use and good for creating play lists and handling
your music.
Its memory is 128 Mb, so what it loses in storage, it certainly makes up for
with its practicalities and styleeeeeeeeeeeee.
You also get four EQ settings (Hip Hop, Funk, Techno, and Rock) to choose from,
as well as a custom setting.
Style - Its one of the most aesthetically pleasing mp3 players in its
competitive market. Its obvious that Nike have thrown in some thought and had
some input into how `swish` the product would look to sweeten the deal, it’s a
simplistic design, which in turn, makes it neat looking thing. 4/5
Fit - Concerning the fit and how it grips to the body and arm, its second to
none. Once on, its remains firmly on till you take it off. Kinda like a
second skin. 5/5
Grip - N/A
Shock resistance - It wouldn’t withstand a fully fledged throw to concrete, but
will definitely withstand any heavy bangs or knocks that a PK session will bring
its way. 4/5
Weight - You will not even notice you're wearing it. 4/5
Durability - With its hard rubber outer shell it will take a lot of use till it
starts to wear away. Be warned that if handled with dirty mitts the rubber can
get dirty easily. 4/5
Value - At this moment in time there are a lot of mp3 players available, all
with varying prices, but not so many styles. Without a doubt Nike/Phillips have
given the ultimate mp3 package for this sport. For the price this badboy has got
some sick looks, it hugs you like an ugly bullied kid, and the reliability of it
is similar to a cows udder. 5/5
Overall - After listening and using various mp3 players I can honestly say that
this is an item of necessity (if you are into listening to music while out
training) is affordable, and what you see is what you get - a fine looking
product which is unique at the moment, and you can rely on it to do the job day
in day out. 5/5
